Millikin Wrestling Opens with Win

The Millikin wrestling team opened its 2016-17 season with a 44-3 dual meet victory at Hannibal LaGrange College in Hannibal, Missouri on November 1.
         Millikin's Travis Jones got things going with an 18-3 technical fall win at 125. Returning All-American Chris Williams won 20-5 by technical fall at 20-5. The Big Blue got wins by fall from freshman Randle Taborn (149), R.J. O'Connor (174) and Keajion Jennings at (184).
         Other Millikin winners were Rene Sanchez (141), Sam Lack (157), Andrew Wise (197) and Frank Tomaskovic (285).
         Millikin will host the Millikin Open on November 12 starting at 9:30 a.m.
