Millikin Cross Country Competes at CCIW Championships

The Millikin men's and women's cross country teams each finished in seventh place at the 2017 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Cross Country Championships head at St. James Farm in Warrenville, Ill.
         Millikin's top male runner was freshman Joey Davies who finished in 26th place. His time of 26:37.3 was the 19th fastest 8K race in school history. Freshman William Powell was 29th in 26:43.8. His time ranks him 22nd all-time for the Big Blue.
         In the women's competition, three runners put their marks on the Millikin all-time Top 25. Joycelyn VanAntwerp finished in 29th place in 23:57.8, which places in in 13th on Millikin's 6K performance list. Mackenzie Dixon was 30th in 23:58.4, which ranks her 14th all-time. Natalie Krol was 44th in the event in 24:38.8. Her time puts her in 24th all-time.
