Millikin Cross Country Opens Season

The Millikin men's and women's cross country team opened the 2017 season at the Illinois Wesleyan Titan Opener at Maxwell Park in Normal, Illinois on Sept. 1. The Millikin men finished in third place while the Big Blue women were fourth.
Millikin's top finisher in the men's 5K race with freshman Will Powell in sixth place in 16:20.4. Freshman Joey Davis was 15th in 16:53.2. Sophomore Tommy O'Brien finished in 19th position in 17:06.4 while freshman T.J. Weglarz was 20th in 17:08.4.
In the women's two mile race, Millikin's top finisher was junior Ripley Vonhoff in 13th place in 12:51.4. Freshman Mackenzie Dixon was 14th in 12:54.6.
