Cross Country Hosts Wright Classic

          The Millikin cross country team hosted its annual H.W. Wright Classic at the Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur, Illinois on September 29. The Big Blue men finished in fifth place while the Millikin women were sixth.
          Millikin freshman William Powell covered the 8K course in 25:47.04, which was the third fastest time in school history. Powell finished 20th in the race. Freshman Joey Davies was 35th in 26:19.25, which was 12th all-time at Millikin.
          In the women's race, freshman Mackenzie Dixon was the Big Blue's top finisher coming home in 35th in 24:32.48. The performance moved Dixon up to 21st in the Millikin Top 25 times. Junior Ripley Vonhoff was 45th in 25:17.89.
