Millikin Cross Country Strong at UIS

The Millikin men's and women's cross country team had a solid showing at the University of Illinois Prairie Star Invitational on September 8 in Springfield, Illinois. The Millikin women finished in second place while the Big Blue men were third.

Millikin freshman Mackenzie Dixon finished third in the women's 4K race in a time of 15:50.3. Ripley Vonhoff was eighth in a time of 16:12.3. Other Millikin runners in the top 15 inlcuded Natalie Krol in 13th at 16:51.9, Claire Weers in 14th in 17:08.3 and Gillian Card in 15th in 17:09.1.

In the men's 6K race, freshman William Powell was the Big Blue's top finisher in fourth in 19:40.2, Joey Davies finished in 11th in 20:10.7.
