Millikin Athletics

           Millikin University senior Jacob Segrest earned All-American honors with a sixth place finish in the Long Jump at the 2017 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 10 at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.
          Segrest’s best jump was 7.01 meters (23-00.00), which placed him in sixth place.  Jerry Williams of Wisconsin-Stevens Point won the event at 7.35 meters. 
          Segrest set a Millikin record in the Long Jump on March 3 at the Carthage College Gill Last Chance Qualifier jumping 7.27 meters.
