Millikin Athletics

         Millikin senior Joey Davies won the Men’s Heptathlon at the Titan Tri IV held in Bloomington, Illinois on February 27-28.
         Davies scored 4689 points setting a new record and giving him the best performance in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). Davies will finish the year as the top performer in the CCIW as of the heptathlon events have been held for the 2021 Indoor season.
         Davies won six of the seven events held in event. Davies’ winning time in the 1000 Meters of 2:41.74 was the fourth fastest time in school history.
         Davies is currently sixth in the country on the NCAA Division III Indoor Performance list with a converted point total of 4714.
