At the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Millikin’s Joey Davies dominated the Decathlon winning the event with a school record 6643 points. He finished first or second in all 10 events. Davies won the 100 Meters in 11.42 seconds, the 400 Meters in 50.65 seconds, tied for first in the High Jump in 1.79 meters, won the 1500 Meters in 4:33.61 and finished first in the Pole Vault in 4.44 meters (14-6.75). He was second in the Long Jump at 6.33 meters, the Shot Put at 11.95 meters, the 110 Hurdles in 16.37 seconds, the Discus at 33.55 meters and the Javelin at 45.14 meters. Davies’ mark in the Pole Vault was fourth best all-time at Millikin.
