Millikin Athletics

The Millikin Athlete of the Year Award recipients were junior women’s basketball All-American Elyce Knudsen (Philo, Tolono Unity H.S.) and senior football defensive end Alexander Perkins. Knudsen won the Jostens Trophy presented to the top women’s basketball player in NCAA Division III. He was named to two All-America teams, selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® First Team and named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Year. Perkins led NCAA Division III in sacks and tackles for a loss. He was named to two All-America First Team’s and was the CCIW Co-Defensive Player of Year.
