Sophie Darden was also named the CCIW Women's Basketball Player of the Week after posting consecutive double-doubles, her seventh and eighth of the season. She had an 18 point, 11 rebound performance against North Central, then helped lead the Big Blue to victory at Carthage on Saturday with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals. She shot 72% from the floor, and is one of only two players in the league to rank among the top five individuals in both scoring (17.2 per game) and rebounding (8.8 per game) during the conference schedule.
