Kelsy England Wasmuth-Volleyball
Kelsy Wasmuth of Maryville, Ill., is being honored for her accomplishments in Women’s Volleyball. Kelsy played volleyball for four years while at Millikin and had a very notable career as a student-athlete. During her time at the Big Blue, Wasmuth was co-captain and team MVP in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Wasmuth also was named to the CCIW All-Conference First Team in 2009, 2010, and 2011. She ranked third all-time in career digs (1,737), third all-time career kills (1,978), third all-time with kills in a match (29), and sixth all-time kills in a season {564). Wasmuth was also a member of the 2010 team that won 22 straight matches and was named CCIW Champions with a 28-7 record.
Wasmuth graduated from Millikin with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. Since graduating, she works as a nurse practitioner at General and Laparoscopic Surgical Associates, PC, and was formally an RN at Anderson Hospital.
