#20 Millikin Volleyball Falls at #22 Carthage

          In a battle to two Top 25 teams, the 20th ranked Millikin volleyball team lost a road conference match at #22 Carthage College 3-1 on October 7 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  Millikin is now 18-4, 1-1 while Carthage improves to 20-2, 2-0.
          Carthage took the first two sets 25-14 and 25-22 before Millikin rallied to win the third set 25-23.  Carthage jumped out to a seven point advantage in the fourth set and then led 20-14.  Millikin scored five straight points to pull to 20-19 before Carthage closed out the set with a 25-21 victory.
          Audrey Krajec led Millikin with 21 kills and 13 digs.  Jenna Hilgers had 37 set assists.  Erin Syversen had 12 digs and Christina Capuani had 10.
          Emily Heurmann led Carthage with 18 kills.  Rachel Fields had 17 kills and 10 digs.
          Millikin will host Augustana College on October 14 at 7 p.m. in the Griswold Center.
