The Millikin women's soccer team lost a tight 1-0 contest at Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri on September 24.

The game was a tight contest with the Griffins getting off eight shots compared to Millikin's seven. Â Both goalies, Tayler Pulvirenti of Fontbonne and Anna Benvenuto of Millikin, had three saves.
Kelly Hobbs scored Fontbonne's lone goal in the 25th minute.
Fontbonne is now 7-1-1 while Millikin falls to 2-6-1.
The Big Blue host Franklin College on September 27 at 11:30 for the women's first home game at the newly renovated Frank M. Lindsay Field. Â The men's soccer team will play at 2 p.m. on
Saturday followed by Big Blue football at 6 p.m. Â A Dedication Ceremony for the revenovated facility will begin at 5 p.m.
