Millikin Football Loses at #5 Wheaton

         The Millikin football team lost at #5 Wheaton College 62-14 on October 17 in Wheaton, Illinois.
         Millikin stayed with the national power during the first quarter with the scored tied at 14-14 at the end of the quarter.
         Wheaton opened the scoring on a 34-yard pass from Andrew Bowers to Andrew Lindquist to make it 7-0 Thunder.
         The Big Blue answered on its next possession scoring on a 16-yard pass from Nicco Stepina to Brady Cufaude to tie the game at 7-7.
         Wheaton then scored on a Bowers to Zach Lindquist six-yard pass.
         Millikin answered back on a one yard run by freshman Marquis Spears to make it 14-14.
         Wheaton then pulled away with 20 points in the second quarter and 21 points in the third.
         Stepina was 20-32 passing for 179 yards.  Cufaude led the Millikin receivers with eight catches for 90 yards.
