Big Blue Men’s Soccer Defeats Illinois Wesleyan

          The Millikin men's soccer team scored a key conference road win defeating Illinois Wesleyan 3-1 on October 21 in Bloomington, Illinois.
          Millikin got on the board early when Tucker Mathieson took advantage of a defense miscue to find the net at the 3:22 mark.  The Big Blue went up 2-0 late in the first half when Sam Rackovan scored off an assist from Nick Abel. 
          The Titans cut the lead in half at 49:39 when Eric Gilbert converted a penalty kick.
          Millikin pushed its lead back to two at 3-1 one minute later on a goal on a free kick by Abel.
          Daniel Sinclair had six saves for Millikin and Trevor Creek had eight.
          Millikin is now 10-4, 1-3 while Illinois Wesleyan falls to 5-8-2, 1-4.
          Millikin hosts Carthage College on Saturday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m.
