Big Blue Men’s Soccer Winning Streak Snapped

          The Millikin men's soccer team had its five game winning streak snapped falling to North Park University 2-0 in the conference opener at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois on October 3.
          Millikin outshot the Vikings in the game 13-6, but the Vikings were able to take advantage of its opportunities to secure the victory.
          North Park scored right before halftime on a goal by Kebba Sanyang.  The Vikings second goal came on a penalty kick by Pedram Tahmi-Masoleh.
          Ben Spelman and Zach Solorio each had four shots, but couldn't find the net thanks to four saves by North Park goalie Chris Tomuta.
          Millikin falls to 8-2, 0-1 while North Park improves to 9-2, 1-0.
          Millikin will be back in action on October 9 with a road trip to Wheaton College
