Millikin Men’s Soccer Drops Final Contest

         The Millikin men's soccer team dropped the final game of its 2015 season falling 4-3 at Augustana College on October 31 in Rock Island, Illinois.
         The game was played in cold and rainy conditions, but that didn't keep the teams from scoring especially in the first period.
         Augustana jumped out to a 1-0 lead, but Millikin tied the game in the 21st minute when Oliver Czopek scored on an assist from Hunter Somers.  One minute later, the Big Blue would take the lead when Zach Solorio scored on an assist from Ben Spelman.
         The Vikings scored two goals in the final four minutes of the first period to regain the advantage at 3-2.
         Trailing 4-2, Solorio and Spelman teamed up again in the second period for the Big Blue's final goal.
         Michael Brazinski had two first period goals for Augustana.  Jonathan Colucci had a goal and a assist for the Vikings.
         Millikin finishes the season at 10-7 overall and 1-6 in conference play.
Augustana's record is 5-13-1, 2-5.
