Millikin Football Loses Season Ender

          The Millikin football team lost its final game of the regular season 42-10 to Augustana College on November 14 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
          Each team scored a first quarter touchdown with Augustana opening the scoring on a 28 yards pass from Sam Frasco to Danny Lattner. 
          Millikin would tie the game at 7-7 on a six yard touchdown pass from Nicco Stepina to senior Brady Cufaude. 
          Augustana scored twice in the second quarter on a four yard run by Frasco and a six yard interception return by Grant Burke.  The Vikings led 21-7 at the half.
          Millikin's only second half points came on a 27 yard field goal by Chayce Volpert.
          Augustana had 422 yards in total offense while Millikin only managed 235.  The Big Blue were hurt by two interceptions.
          Ryan Pitra led the Viking offense with 170 yards rushing on 24 carries.  Frasco was 13-16 passing for 197 yards and four touchdowns.  Lattner had five catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns.
          Millikin got 68 yards rushing from freshman Andre Colvin on 20 carries.  Stepina was 13-25-2 for 117 yards.  Cufaude had six catches for 45 yards.  Cameron Mammen had three catches for 63 yards.
          Jazpar Romero and Isaiah Tate each had 10 tackles for Millikin.
          The Big Blue end the season with a record of 2-8, 1-5 while Augustana ends its year at 4-6,3-4.
