Baseball Drops Twin Bill

    The Millikin baseball team lost a conference doubleheader at Illinois Wesleyan on April 11 in Bloomington, Illinois.  The Titans won game one 13-0 and took game two 7-1.
    Millikin was limited to five hits by Illinois Wesleyan starter John Munyon who earned the win with seven shutout innings in game one.
    The top of the Titans order did most of the damage with Tim Coonan, Derek Idstein and Pat Mollo each collecting three hits.
    Millikin couldn't get much offense going again in game two getting on six hits.  Brian Ekiss had the Millikin run batted in.  
    Mollo continued swinging a hot bat for Illinois Wesleyan going 4-5 with four RBIs.
    Millikin is now 11-14, 3-8 while the Titans improve to 18-6, 9-2.
    The two teams will meet on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Sunnyside Park in Decatur, Illinois.
