Baseball Drops Doubleheader to Vikings

          The Millikin baseball team dropped a conference doubleheader to Augustana College on May 2 at Sunnyside Park in Decatur, Illinois.  The Vikings won game one 7-1 and took the second game 7-3.
          Augustana pitcher Walter White limited Millikin to three hits and one run in game one.  White pitched a complete game striking out 12.
          Millikin's only run came on a first inning homerun from Seth Coffey
          Danny Fifer was the hitting star for the Vikings gong 3-4 with two homeruns.
          Coffey stayed hot for the Big Blue in game two going 3-5 with a run batted in.
Julian Gutierrez was 3-4 with two runs scored.  Michael Guddendorf was 2-2 with two runs driven in.  Hunter Wenstrom also had two hits for Millikin.
          Jacques Camalick was 3-4 for the Vikings.  Alex Fluehr had two hits and three RBIs.
    
           Millikin relief pitcher Ben Peters pitched in game two setting a new record for appearances in a seaosn at 21.
          Millikin is now 16-22 overall and finished CCIW play at 7-14.  The Vikings end its season at 26-14, 10-11.
          Millikin will host Knox College on May 5 at 5:30 p.m.
