Millikin Men’s Soccer Opens with Win

          The Millikin men's soccer opened the 2015 season with a 3-1 win over Westminster College.  The game started three hours late due to two weather delays during the preceding women's game.
          Drake Trease opened the scoring for Westminster on a penalty kick early in the first period.
          Millikin would score three times in the second period.  John Fauser tied the game on a header off a Nick Abel throw in.  Another Abel throw-in would result in a Big Blue goal for Zack Solorio.  Millikin's final goal came in the 81st minute on a goal from Ben Spelman off an assist from freshman Christian Zenon.
          The Big Blue will return to action on Sept. 5 at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois at 6 p.m.
