Big Blue Women’s Soccer Defeats Monmouth

          The Millikin women's soccer team defeated Monmouth College 2-0 on September 3 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.  Millikin improved to 1-1 and Monmouth now stands at 1-1.
          Millikin opened the scoring the first half on a goal by Angela Pulice off an Emily Sanders assist.  The Big Blue sealed the win with a goal in the 61st minute.  This time Sanders set up Jenna Eaker who found the net from 10 yards out.
          Anna Benvenuto earned the save in goal for Millikin recording four saves.
          The Big Blue play on Saturday at Earlham College at 4 p.m. ET.
