Millikin Women’s Soccer Falls to Titans

          The Millikin women's soccer team lost 2-1 to the Illinois Wesleyan Titans on October 18 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
          All of the scoring came in the first 12 minutes of the game.  The Titans opened the scoring on a goal from Skyler Tomko with the assist to Emily Snider in the fifth minute.  Less than a minute later, Illinois Wesleyan jumped out to a 2-0 advantage on a goal from Alison Seger.
          Millikin got on the board in the 11th minute when Raven Withaar raced past the defender and put the ball in the back corner of the net for a goal.  Angela Pulice had the assist for the Big Blue.
          Illinois Wesleyan kept up the pressure all night with 20 shots.  Millikin's Anna Benvenuto had 10 saves in goal.
