Millikin Men’s Soccer Defeats Vikings

          The Millikin men's soccer team scored a 2-1 victory over Augustana College on October 22 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
          The Big Blue scored both its goals in the first half of play.  Freshman Trey Knighton scored at the 31:58 mark off an assist from Ben Spelman.  Ivan Lopez scored four minutes later to put Millikin up 2-0.
          The Vikings made it close with a goal in the 70th minute from Matthew Allen.
          Millikin's Trevor Creek earned the win in goal with one save.
          Millikin is now 8-5-2, 2-4 while Augustana falls to 4-11-1, 0-5-1.
