Millikin Volleyball Goes for CCIW Championship

The Millikin volleyball team will be playing for its second straight College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) regular season title when they face Carroll University on November 1 at 7 p.m. in the Griswold Center.
          The Big Blue have a conference record of 6-1 and are tied for first place with Elmhurst College. Elmhurst will be in action on November 1 at Illinois Wesleyan University. A victory by Millikin coupled with a loss by Elmhurst would give the Big Blue the regular season championship and the number one seed and right to host this weekend's CCIW Tournament. If both teams win on Tuesday night, they would share the regular season title and Elmhurst would host the CCIW Tournament due to its victory over Millikin earlier this season.
          Millikin, Elmhurst, Carthage College (5-2) and Wheaton College (5-2) have all qualified for the conference tournament.
