Big Blue Wrestlers Go 2-1 at Millikin Duals

The Millikin wrestling team went 2-1 at its own Millikin Duals held on November 19 at MacArthur High School in Decatur, Illinois. Millikin defeated Calumet College of St. Joseph's 31-17 and downed Manchester University 34-12. NCAA Division II program Truman State defeated the Big Blue 22-16.
          Freshman Randle Taborn and sophomore Keajion Jennings both went 3-0 on the day for Millikin. Taborn, wrestling in the 149 weight class, defeated Ramiro Rajas of Calumet College 17-0 (TF), Joe King of Truman State 8-0 (MD) and Chase Wilson of Manchester 16-0 (TF). Jennings picked up wins at 184 pounds. He defeated Tyler Bernard of Calumet by fall in 19 seconds, won in a decision over Ashton Mutuwa of Truman State 11-5 and won by fall over Alex Roberts of Manchester at 1:55.
          At 157 pounds, freshman Noah Justi went 2-0 for Millikin and picked up an exhibition win. He won over Zach Taylor of Truman State 7-5 in sudden victory and defeated Alexander Arney of Manchester 9-1.
          Frank Tomaskovic went 2-1 for the Big Blue in the 285 weight class and R.J. O'Connor went 2-1 at 165.
