Big Blue Baseball Loses at Illinois College

    The Millikin baseball team lost a non-conference contest at Illinois College 10-5 on May 3 in Jacksonville, Illinois.
    Illinois College jumped out to a 7-0 advantage after four inning before the Big Blue rallied to get back into the game.  The Blueboys answered with three runs in the seventh to seal the victory.
    Devin Crews went 2-4 with a home run to lead the Millikin attack.  Adam Peters was 2-4.  Kaleb Krigbaum had three RBIs including a two run singles to start the Millikin scoring in the fifth.
    Illinois College had four players collect three hits in the game.  Austin Dormire and Austin Peck each went 3-5 with a home run.  Peck had three RBIs.  Connor Melton and Alec Wade also had three hits.
    Millikin is now 16-18 while Illinois College improves to 15-17.
    The Big Blue will play at Knox College on May 4.
