Millikin Wrestlers Drop Two Matches at National Duals

        The Millikin wrestling team returned to action after the holiday break dropping two matches at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) National Duals in Terre Haute, Indiana on January 5.
          Millikin opened the meet with a 27-16 loss to Wheaton College. Big Blue freshman Randle Taborn improved to 17-0 on the season with an 8-5 win over Zachary Harrell at 149 pounds. Other Millikin wins included freshman Rene Sanchez winning over Josiah Fitzjerrels in a major decision 9-1 at 133 pounds and freshman Jake Tisza defeating Stephen Aiello at 165 pounds 6-4.
          The Big Blue lost its second match to Augustana College 42-5. Sophomore R.J. O'Connor scored Millikin's lone win at 165 pounds with a technical fall 16-1 victory over Bo Bauer.
          The Big Blue will have one more match at the NWCA National Duals on Thursday night. Millikin will compete at the Budd Whitehill Duals hosted by Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on Jan. 13-14
