Big Blue Women’s Soccer Defeats Monmouth

          The Millikin women's soccer team defeated Monmouth College 3-1 on October 11 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
          The Millikin offense started fast with Lucy Koger scoring her 10th goal of the season at the 3:43 mark.  The Big Blue added a Taylor Hartman goal in the 35th minute to build a 2-0 advantage.
          Monmouth answered early in the second period on a goal from Hannah Kugler.
          The Big Blue added an insurance goal in the 79th minute on a goal from Raven Withaar with assists going to Koger and Emily Ratchford.
          Anna Benvenuto earns the win the goal with eight saves.
          Millikin improves to 7-5-1 while Monmouth goes to 8-6.        
          The Big Blue will host Carthage College on October 14 at 3:30 p.m.
