Big Blue Men's Soccer Downs Carthage

    The Millikin men's soccer team defeated Carthage College 2-1 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur on October 14.
    Millikin rallied with two second period goals to score the victory.  Freshman Dalton Gilbert opened the Big Blue scoring with a goal at 61:57 to tie the game.  Fred Bartuch had the assist on the Gilbert goal.
    The Big Blue scored the game winner with under two minutes left in the game on a head from Connor Foley off an Austin Taylor throw-in.
    Trevor Creek earned the win in goal with five saves.
    Millikin is now 4-8-1, 1-3 while Carthage goes to 7-6-2, 1-2-1.
