Big Blue Men’s Soccer Ties Wheaton

         The Millikin men's soccer team played to a 2-2 double overtime tie with Wheaton College on October at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
         Millikin scored at 9:16 on a goal from Trey Knighton with the assist going to Chris Clay. 
         The Big Blue would hold the lead until the 59th minute when Max Carey scored for Wheaton.
         Millikin would go up 2-1 at 78:12 when Knighton converted a penalty kick.
         The Thunder tied the game at 81:35 on a goal by Will Woodfin.
         Millikin's Trevor Creek had 11 saves including one in each of the overtime periods.
         Millikin is now 4-10-2, 1-5-1 while Wheaton goes to 8-8-1, 4-3-1.
         The Big Blue conclude the 2017 season on October 28 at Carroll University.
