Big Blue Men’s Soccer Defeats Monmouth

          The Millikin men's soccer team defeated Monmouth College 3-0 on October 4 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
          Millikin wasted little time getting on the board scoring at the 2:05 mark on a goal from Ivan Lopez with the assist going to Russell Pruitt.  The Big Blue added two second period goals with Takunda Jakachira and Christian Zenon scoring.
          Millikin goalkeeper Trevor Creek earned the shutout with three saves.
          Millikin is now 3-6-1 while Monmouth goes to 2-9.
          The Big Blue host North Central College on October 7 at 2:30 p.m. during Millikin's Homecoming.
