Big Blue Women Fall to Westminster

         The Millikin women's basketball team lost to Westminster 84-78 at the Greenville Invitational in Greenville, Illinois on November 18. 
         Westminster led 19-18 after the first quarter and outscored the Big Blue by 14 in the second quarter building a 43-28 advantage at the half.  Millikin shot 47 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range.  Westminster hit on 43 percent of its shots.  The Bluejays won the rebounding battle 44-31.
         Devin Curry led the Big Blue with 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists.  Emily Schultz added 18 points.  Lauren Moses had 10 points and five rebounds.
         Westminster got 18 points from Kendahl Adams and 17 from Mirrakohl Johnson.
         Millikin is 1-1 on the season while Westminster improves to 2-0.
         The Big Blue will play its home opener on November 21 at 7 p.m. against MacMurray College.
