Big Blue Wrestlers Go 3-1 at Olivet Duals

The Millikin University wrestling team went 3-1 at the Olivet College Comet Duals on November 18 in Olivet, Michigan.
The Big Blue won its opening match over the University of the Ozarks 49-4. Millikin then lost to Olivet 19-15. The Big Blue dominated its final two matches winning 53-3 over Mt. St. Joseph's and 53-0 over Adrian College.
Four Millikin wrestlers went 4-0 on the day. Chris Williams won all his matches at 141 pounds including three wins by fall. Austin Hedrick went 4-0 at 174 pounds and Keajion Jennings went 4-0 at 197. Jennings won all four of his matches by fall. Myron Hamilton went 4-0 at 285 pounds with two major decisions and a win by fall.
Three Big Blue wrestlers went 3-1. Freshman Bradan Birt had two technical falls and one major decision at 149. Sophomores Noah Justi (157) and Evan Patterson (184) each picked up three victories. Patterson scored three pin fall wins.
