Big Blue Women Win at Illinois College

          The Millikin women's basketball team returned to action after a holiday break with an 85-67 win at Illinois College on December 30 in Jacksonville, Illinois.
          Millikin shot 52 percent from the field while holding Illinois College to 38 percent.   The Big Blue went 11-24 from three-point range.  Millikin won the rebounding battle 44-30.
          The Big Blue had four players in double figures on scoring led by Devin Curry with a career high 28 points.  Emily Schultz had a double double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Jordan Hildebrand added 15 points and Yanni Saddler had 12 points and nine rebounds.
          Illinois College's top scorer was Brielle Greenleaf with 30 points.
          Millikin is now 5-6 while Illinois College goes to 3-8.  The Big Blue return to action on Sunday, December 31 playing at Monmouth College.
