Millikin Wrestlers Lose Dual to North Central

The Millikin wrestling team lost its final dual of the 2017 season falling to North Central College 29-12 on February 2 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
          The match started at 157 pounds and Big Blue freshman Noah Justi got Millikin off to a good start with a 5-2 win over Cam Hayes.
          Millikin's Keajion Jennings won at 184 pounds with a pin fall victory over Vincent Pizzo at 2:39.
          The Big Blue's won the final match of the dual at 149 pounds with Millikin freshman Randle Taborn winning 5-0.
          Millikin finishes with a 9-9 dual record in its second season of competition.
          Millikin will host the Big Blue Open on Saturday, February 4 starting at 9:30 a.m.
          The Big Blue will compete in the 2017 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championships on Thursday, February 9 starting at 1 p.m. at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.
