Millikin Men’s Soccer Opens with Tie

                The Millikin men's soccer team opened the 2017 season with a 1-1 double overtime tie at Alma College in Alma, Michigan on September 1.
                The Big Blue took a 1-0 lead at the 5:59 mark on a goal from sophomore Trey Knighton.
                Millikin would hold onto the advantage until the 75th minute when Alma tied the game on a goal from Kyle Salisbury.
                Millikin goalie Trevor Creek had three saves in goal.
                The Big Blue will continue their northern swing on Saturday when they travel to Kalamazoo College.
