Millikin Volleyball Wins at Wheaton

          The 12th ranked Millikin volleyball team picked up its second College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) win downing Wheaton College 3-0 on September 26 in Wheaton, Illinois.  The Big Blue is now 12-3, 2-0 while Wheaton falls to 3-10, 0-1.
          Millikin won 25-13, 25-21 and 25-16.  Erin Syversen had 15 kills and nine digs to lead the Big Blue attack.  Alora Goodey and Marissa McElroy each added 10 kills.  Rose
Syversen had a team high 21 assists followed by Emily Mihalkanin with 20.  Meredith Artime had a team high 15 digs.
          The Big Blue will play its first home game of the 2017 season on Thursday, September 28 hosting DePauw University at 7 p.m.
