Big Blue Women’s Soccer Wins Third Straight

          The Millikin women's soccer team improved to 3-0 on the season after a 2-0 win over Illinois College on September 6 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
          After a scoreless first half, Millikin scored 37 seconds into the second half on a goal by freshman Sydney Rudny.  Rundy put back a ricochet off the Illinois College goalies hands on a save on a shot from Lucy Koger.  The Big Blue scored again in the 54th minute on a goal from freshman Shae Giovanni.
          Charlotte Crofton had 11 saves in goal for Illinois College.  Millikin outshot the Lady Blues 27-6.
          Illinois College falls to 0-3 on the season.
          Millikin will travel to Fontbonne University in St. Louis on Saturday, September 9.
