Women's Basketball Loses at Augustana

    The Millikin women's basketball team lost at Augustana College 86-68 on January 6, 2018 in Rock Island, Illinois.
    The Vikings led 26-12 after the first quarter and took a 41-27 advantage into the locker room at halftime.
    Millikin shot 44 percent from the field while the Vikings connected on 53 percent.  The Vikings edged Millikin in rebounding 34-33.  Millikin committed 31 turnovers while forcing Augustana into 23.
    Senior Emily Schultz led Millikin with 16 points, six rebounds and five assists.  Freshman Jordan Hildebrand had 14 points and five rebounds.  Yanni Saddler added 10 points.  Lauren Moses had seven rebounds and eight points.
    Augustana got 15 points from Alexis Jones followed by Victoria Allen and Scooter Lopez with 12 each.
    Millikin falls to 5-9, 0-5 while the Vikings improve to 9-4, 2-2.
