Big Blue Women’s Tennis Edges Rose-Hulman

          The Millikin women's tennis team defeated Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology 5-4 on October 10 in Decatur, Illinois.  The match began outdoors at the Fairview Tennis Center, but had to be finished indoors at the Decatur Athletic Club due to darkness.
          The Big Blue won two of the doubles matches with Morgan Bettner and Shelby Jones winning 8-6 at number one doubles and Danielle Beard teaming with Madeline Delano to win at number two doubles 8-4.
          Millikin's three singles victories came at 4-6 singles.  Delano won at tough match at number four singles 3-6, 6-2, 10-8. Alena Hinch won 6-2, 7-5 (5) and Amber Rezinas won at number six singles 6-3, 6-2.
          Millikin is now 3-8 while Rose-Hulman goes to 4-4.
