Big Blue Men’s Soccer Season Ends on Sour Note

          The Millikin men's soccer team lost to Carroll University 3-2 on October 27 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
          Millikin thought they had scored the game tying goal as time on the game clock clicked to zero. After the initially indicating the goal was good, the officials changed their decision after meeting ruling the time had expired before the goal left Patrick Dolan's foot.
          Millikin need to victory to move into fourth place and earn a spot in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Tournament.  The loss dropped Millikin to 8-7-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the CCIW. 
          Millikin got goals from senior Takunda Jakachira and junior Bradyn Nokes with senior Patrick Dolan and junior Trey Knighton picking up assists.
          The Pioneers got goals from Shea Connell, Jason Sanderfoot and the game winner from Jake McCrystal in the 75th minute.
          Carroll ends the season at 3-13-2, 2-6
