Big Blue Men’s Basketball Suffers Road Loss

         The Millikin men's basketball team lost at undefeated North Central College 75-64 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) opener on December 1 in Naperville, Illinois.
         North Central led the entire game going into the locker room up 38-29 at halftime.
         The Cardinals shot 54 percent from the field while Millikin hit on 45 percent. The Big Blue won the rebounding battle 25-24. North Central scored 19 points off of 17 Millikin turnovers.
         Elijah Henry led Millikin with 16 points and six rebounds. Freshman Jack Marinko added 14 points and Calvin Fished scored 10.
         Connor Raridon scored 18 points to lead North Central. Aiden Chang and Matt Cappellitti each had 14 for the Cardinals.
         North Central is now 5-0, 1-0 while Millikin falls to 4-2, 0-1.
         The Big Blue host Elmhurst College on December 5 at 7 p.m.
