Big Blue Women’s Soccer Downs Engineers

         The Millikin women's soccer team defeated Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology 1-0 on September 15 at Frank M. Lindsay Field.  It was the first Millikin career win for first year Big Blue Head Coach Ian Doherty.
         Millikin scored the game's only goal at the 4:37 mark when freshman Maddy Wood scored on an assist from Kat Stiles.
         The Big Blue defense and goalkeeper Jennifer Miller made that goal standup the rest of game. Miller earned the shutout in net with four saves including a save with 30 seconds remaining in the game.
         Millikin is now 1-5 while Rose Hulman goes to 3-3.
