Millikin Wrestlers Edged by Cardinals

         The #16 Millikin wrestling team lost to #11 North Central College 25-18 on January 13 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
         Trailing 10-0 after the first two weight classes, the Big Blue won three straight matches to pull ahead 12-10. At 141 pounds, fourth ranked Chris Williams won in a major decision 12-1 over Marc Fleenor. Williams is now 7-1 on the season. At 149 pounds, Millikin's Tristan Birt improved to 12-4 on the year with a 5-4 decision over Anthony Rink. Millikin's Bradan Birt, the ninth ranked nationally at 157 pounds, won technical fall 18-2 over Rafael Roman. Bradan Birt is now 14-3 on the year.
         Millikin's final win of the tonight was at 197 pounds where third ranked Keajion Jennings posted a win by pin fall at 4:50.
         Millikin will wrestle a dual at third ranked Wabash College on Monday, January 14.
