Millikin Men Fall at IWU

          The Millikin men's basketball team lost at Illinois Wesleyan University 84-72 on January 31 at the Shirk Center in Bloomington, Illinois.
          The first half featured five ties and six lead changes with the Titans leading 46-38 at halftime.  Illinois Wesleyan led the entire second half with the Big Blue pulling to within four 76-72 on a three-pointer by Zach Fisher with 1:40 left in the game. Illinois Wesleyan made eight straight free throws down the stretch to pull away for the win.
          Illinois Wesleyan shot 53 percent (26-53) from the field and 6-20 (30 percent) from three-point range. Millikin made 41 percent (24-59) of its shots and went 7-25 (28 percent from three-point range. Millikin won the rebounding battle 35-32. The Big Blue committed 17 turnovers compared to 11 for the Titans
          Zach Fisher led Millikin with 16 points. Calvin Fisher had 11 points and six rebounds. Elijah Henry scored 10 points for Millikin. Jordan Cunningham had a team high 14 rebounds.
          Brady Rose led the Titans with 27 points.
          Millikin is now 10-10, 4-8 while the Titans improve to 12-8, 5-6.
          Millikin will host Carroll University on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m.
