Millikin Men’s Basketball Drops Home Contest

         The Millikin men's basketball team lost to Alma College 97-69 on November 25 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
         Alma shot 56.5 percent from the field and made 9-19 (47 percent) from three-point range.  Millikin shot 39 percent in the game and we 8-18 (44 percent) from three-point range.  After trailing 50-27 at halftime, Millikin got its offense going shooting 47 percent from the field and making 6-11 from three-point range.  Alma attacking and driving offense dominated Millikin in the paint 54-32.  Alma won the rebounding battle 43-31.
         Calvin Fisher led Millikin with 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.  Freshman Cole Laurence had 13 points and Troy Burrows added nine.
         Steven Harvey led Alma with 21 points.  Jack Poling had 16 and Cole Kleiver added 15.
         Millikin falls to 1-5 while Alma goes to 2-2.
         Millikin will travel to the University of Dubuque on November 30.
