Big Blue Men’s Basketball Drop Game to Carroll

         Despite a strong shooting performance, the Millikin men's basketball team lost to Carroll University 70-63 on December 14 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
         Millikin shot 70 percent (28-40) from the field including going 3-6 from three-point range.  Millikin was hurt by 25 turnovers, which proved to be the difference in the game.  Carroll scored 29 points off the Big Blue miscues.  Carroll shot 46 percent from the field (26-56), but had 16 more shot attempts than Millikin had.  The Big Blue won the rebounding battle 27-18.
         Calvin Fisher led Millikin with 17 points, seven assist and six rebounds.  Zach Fisher had 14 points.
         Carroll's top scorer was Nick Penny with 18 points followed by Charlie Soule and Ryan Clarey each with 12.
         Millikin falls to 2-9, 0-3 while Carroll improves to 8-2, 2-1.
