Big Blue Men’s Basketball Ends Season with Victory

         The Millikin men's basketball team ended its 2018-19 season with a 79-62 win over North Park University on February 16 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
         Millikin lead 28-26 at halftime and blew the game open in the second half with their biggest lead being 22 points.
         Millikin shot 52 percent (32-62) from the field while hitting on 7-22 (32) percent from three-point range. Millikin dominated the glass 40-26.
North Park hit on 21-57 from the field (37 percent).
         The Big Blue celebrated the careers of seniors Elijah Henry, DaVante Harrell and Levi Laws. Henry finished with 17 points and six rebounds including four crowd pleasing dunks. Harrell had 13 points and Laws finished with five. Junior Zach Fisher scored 17 points for the Big Blue.
         North Park's top scorer was Toby Marek with 16 points.
         Millikin ends the year 11-13, 5-11. North Park finishes at 4-21, 2-14.
