Millikin Men’s Tennis Downs Westminster

         The Millikin men's tennis team defeated Westminster (Pa.) 8-1 on March 14 in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
         Millikin won all three doubles matches with Jacob Palley and Colin Sandgren winning 8-2 at number one doubles. Logan Bennett and Greg Schwoeppe won at number two double 8-2 and Nick Laramee and Holden Owens won the third doubles match 8-0.
         The Big Blue took five of six singles matches with Palley winning 6-3, 6-2 at number one singles. Owens swept three singles 6-0, 6-0. Other singles winners were Laramee (6-1, 6-1), Ryan Sikora (6-3, 6-0) and Alex Herrera (6-3, 3-6, 16-14).
         Millikin is now 6-3 on the season and will play its final match in Hilton Head on Friday.
